Reverend John Honn died unexpectedly on April 2nd,
2011 while on a squirrel hunt competition.The death was due to natural causes.Pastor Honn was the founder and senior pastor of Anchored in Faith
Gospel Church.
Pastor Honn was buried in the Jewish tradition
according to his wishes. On April 4th there was a graveside service that
was open to immediate friends and family of Pastor John Honn.
The church continues to operate as normal with
other ministers filling the pulpit.Evangelist Ray Pearson who is a member of Anchored in Faith Gospel
Church has preached the two services since Pastor Honn’s death.Evangelist Mark Fulmer will join Evangelist
Ray Pearson and Reverend Linda Honn in sharing the ministry duties until a
replacement pastor is decided on.
The church as well as all the ministries of the
church will continue.The television
ministry is digging back in the archives of over 750 videotaped services and
will schedule classic sermons of Pastor John’s from time to time on our
television program, “Anchored in Faith”.These sermons will reach many additional households beyond what they did
when they were first taped.Thus our
viewers will occasionally be able to again experience the unique preaching
style that Pastor John Honn was gifted with.
Pastor John Honn had no life insurance.We generally do not ask for money directly,
however monetary gifts toward the burial expenses would be greatly appreciated!

don’t sort through the scriptures to throw out what we don’t like.We sort through the scriptures to find out not
